C.A.R.E. Ministry
The goal of the C.A.R.E. (Care About Reaching Everyone) Ministry at Victory Baptist Church is to meet immediate needs (both inside and outside our congregation) and share the Gospel of Christ.  We have various activities throughout the year designed to fulfill this goal including Boxes of Love (nonperishable food items given to families in need), benevolence funds for emergency needs, CARE for College Kids (care packages sent to college students), Card Ministry, Phone Call Ministry, and fund raisers for special needs children.  In the near future, we will have an Angel Tree for those who need help at Christmas, and we will be visiting shut-ins to share the Gospel and give care packages with toiletries, etc.  If you are interested in participating in any of these events, please contact Kathy Cooper at 910-426-5297.  

Sunday School
We have two children's Sunday School classes that meet at 9:30 a.m.

Nursery
Nursery is provided for children birth through age three during scheduled services.  We request and expect parents with children to volunteer for nursery duty as part of a rotating schedule.  Parents are asked to supply diapers, formula, wipes, etc. sufficient for their children during nursery time.

Children's Church
A lively but spiritually centered worship service for children ages 3 through third grade during the morning worship hour. Your kids will love it!

Special Needs Class
This class is provided so that families having children with Autism, Down Syndrome, etc. can attend church.  The class is offered Sunday mornings.  Attendance is by arrangement only.  Please contact us for more information.

Children in Action (CIA) and Mission Friends
Two new children's programs are now meeting on Wednesday nights at 6:30. These programs are for children 3 years through 5th grade.

Velocity (Youth)
It is our mission to reach teenagers, teach them of God’s love and forgiveness, and provide discipleship and spiritual guidance in a safe environment where they can come to learn about Christ and fellowship with other teens.

Velocity meets on Sunday nights from 6:30 – 7:30.  All teens in grades 6 – 12 are invited to come!

Throughout the year, Velocity is involved in many things. We participate in our church activities, have summer trips, mission projects, pool parties and other activities that keep us busy. 

Velocity has a weekly Youth Bible Study on Wednesday Nights 6:30 p.m.  All youth grades 6-12 are invited to  come and be a part of this exciting new adventure.  Bring your Bible...and bring a friend!
 

Sunday School
We have several adult Sunday School classes. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.

Prayer Meeting
On Wednesday nights we meet as a congregation for a time of sharing prayer needs and  concerns with each other and for a Bible Study lead by Pastor Mike.

Adult Choir
The Adult Choir of Victory Baptist Church provides Praise and Worship Music for Sunday morning services each week.  We do "fun" songs as well as quiet, meditative music to enhance each Sunday morning service.  Choir Practice is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.  We have a four part choir who loves singing and glorifying God.  Most of our choir members are adults, although there are some teenagers who sing with us as well.  We are open to new members at all times. One does not have to be a member of Victory Baptist, but should attend on a regular basis.  Practices are fun and "joy filled".  Our choir also provides special music and programs for Christmas and Easter.  Some extra practices are necessary, but are minimal.
